Mark Guho Construction, a trusted design-build and commercial general contractor, partnered with CSHQA and the client to deliver an 8,800-square-foot private hangar on a large ranch in Central Oregon. Using a streamlined design/build approach, MGC created a pre-engineered metal building measuring 110’ x 80’, featuring a 20-foot-tall, 80-foot-wide hydraulic-driven six-section door system, radiant heat, and integrated restroom and storage facilities.

The project also included extending the asphalt tarmac, constructing a helicopter landing pad, extending power services, and providing rural utility connections including a septic system, well system, and propane-fueled heating. The remote location and harsh winter conditions required extensive planning, coordination among trades, and careful sequencing of inspections, material deliveries, and on-site work. Satellite communication was implemented to provide high-definition video documentation, aiding coordination between the home office and field while creating a detailed historical record of project progress, site activity, and weather-related challenges. This project exemplifies MGC’s ability to execute complex, remote-location builds with precision and adaptability.
