Mark Guho Construction (MGC) is more than a name on a job site—it's a legacy of craftsmanship, accountability, and generational leadership. As a fourth-generation, family-owned construction company based in Boise, ID, we take pride in building meaningful relationships and remarkable structures across Idaho and the Pacific Northwest.

We are known not just for what we build, but also for how we build: with integrity, precision, and a hands-on approach that ensures your project receives the attention it deserves.

Over a Century of Building

Mark Guho Construction’s journey began in 1919, when its founder, Mark N. Guho, launched the business in Southern California, specializing in heavy civil infrastructure for municipalities. After WWII, the company passed to the second generation and continued to grow in both scale and capability.

In 1993, the Guho family relocated the company to Idaho, bringing their legacy of construction excellence to the Treasure Valley. Since then, Mark Guho Construction has evolved into a full-service general contractor specializing in commercial, healthcare, educational, and hospitality projects across Boise and surrounding communities.

Matt Guho
President

Matt Guho brings decades of construction and leadership experience to every project. As the fourth-generation leader of the company, he plays an active role in preconstruction, budgeting, and client communications. His vision continues to shape MGC’s commitment to excellence and innovation in vertical commercial construction.

Mike Guho
Vice President

Mike leads estimating efforts with precision, overseeing bid packages and ensuring competitive, value-driven pricing. His attention to detail and familiarity with trade partners across Boise give our clients a strategic advantage during preconstruction.

MJ Guho
Secretary Treasurer

As Secretary Treasurer and Controller, MJ oversees the financial operations of Mark Guho Construction. He manages accounting processes, monitors regulatory compliance, and ensures all licensing requirements are met. MJ works closely with leadership to uphold the company’s financial integrity and long-standing reputation in the construction industry.

Andy Armstrong
Operations Manager

Andy manages full project delivery, from contract execution through closeout. With deep knowledge of Idaho’s permitting processes and local regulations, he ensures every detail is handled correctly and on time.
