Health Care General Contractor in Meridian, Idaho

Mark Guho Construction, working alongside CSHQA Architects, delivered a new 11,000-square-foot specialty surgery and medical office building in Meridian, Idaho, through the Design/Build method. This project combined a 3,500-square-foot Level 1 surgery center with a clinical wing dedicated to comprehensive ear, balance, and neurological care. Located in the Pine 43 Subdivision, the facility was thoughtfully planned to provide seamless integration between clinical services and surgical procedures while ensuring patient comfort and staff efficiency.

The clinic wing features seven exam rooms, three consultation rooms, a balance center, nurse stations, a rotary chair room, and ample office and break spaces for staff. The surgical wing includes two operating rooms, four post/pre-op rooms, sterilization areas, med gas and vacuum storage rooms, staff locker rooms, and clean/soiled workrooms. Mechanical and electrical systems were engineered to meet strict NFPA health care standards, with specialized interior finishes designed for medical use. On the exterior, the facility incorporates fiber cement siding, aluminum and masonry details, EIFS, metal roofing, and storefront entries, complemented by mature landscaping to complete the site. This project highlights MGC’s expertise as a health care general contractor, delivering highly technical facilities that blend design, compliance, and patient-centered care.
