Healthcare General Contractor Council, Idaho

This 10,400 SF Health Center in rural Council, ID, serves as a critical facility, providing a wide range of health services to community members near and far. Through a competitive process, MGC was selected as the General Contractor most qualified to provide Preconstruction and Construction services. This first-class facility offers optical services, physical therapy, dental operatories, emergency care, radiology, general exams, procedure rooms, x-ray, lab space, behavioral health, and a complete pharmacy with a drive-thru window. This unique medical space and use setup focused MGC’s attention on various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing requirements to ensure all medical equipment was accounted for. Construction included large, heavy timber framing; conventional wood framing; concrete foundations and walls; masonry wainscotting; architectural shingled roofs; large storefront openings; accent wood ceiling and wall panels; and conventional MEP systems.
