NORTHPOINT RECOVERY CENTER
Meridian, Idaho
Project:
Northpoint Recovery Center is a 35,000 SF Design-Build project which serves as a recovery center in Meridian, Idaho. Construction included complete site development, parking lot, utilities, hardscape, and landscape features. This large, wood-framed building uses a combination of glulam beams, engineered wood joists, and structural steel to make up the superstructure of the building. Large clearstory windows, and a landscaped 7,100 SF interior courtyard allow natural light to shine through to the core of the building. Exterior materials included fiber cement lap siding, stone veneer, composite roofing, aluminum storefront and steel accents to make up a maintenance-free exterior. The interior is comprised of patient rooms, group dayrooms, counseling rooms, commercial kitchen, admin offices, lounges, nurse stations, and a dining room. Finishes were selected for durability while maintaining an appealing aesthetic.
