Mark Guho Construction, a leading restaurant general contractor in Meridian, Idaho, completed the Slice House at Orchard Park—a 2,493-square-foot tenant improvement designed for world-renowned pizzaiolo Tony Gemignani, a 13-time Pizza World Champion and Food Network personality. Delivered on time and within budget, this project transformed an existing shell into a fully operational, high-performance pizza shop that meets the brand’s exceptionally high standards. The work included saw-cutting the concrete slab for new plumbing, steel stud framing, gypsum assemblies with Level 4 and selective Level 5 finishes, acoustical ceilings, painting, tile installation, and the construction of a complete commercial kitchen equipped with three specialized hood systems. Existing concrete floors were ground and polished to 800-grit, providing both durability and a refined aesthetic. POS systems, data infrastructure, and internet connectivity were also integrated to support seamless daily operations.

From dough to design, every Slice House location is built to replicate Tony Gemignani’s signature quality. This Meridian location utilizes a dedicated water purification system and wheat sourced from Gemignani’s family fields in Italy—ensuring consistency with recipes passed down through generations and making the pizza accessible even to those with gluten sensitivities. The Slice House at Orchard Park exemplifies MGC’s ability to deliver complex, brand-driven commercial build-outs with precision, craftsmanship, and attention to culinary detail. It also marks the first Slice House in Idaho, with additional locations in the works, including a new restaurant planned for Eagle.
