company history

Mark N. Guho Sr. began the construction legacy of MGC back in 1919 while specializing in complicated, heavy civil construction projects in Southern California for the state and local municipalities. It’s success stemmed from employees’ dedication to excellent work and customer service that exceeds expectations. Open communication has empowered MGC’s workforce for 100 years, and it shows in our work.

Upon their return from WWII, Mark’s two son’s, Nick and Mark continued to work with their father and carry the family business through the 1970’s producing a long and successful career. Since the beginning, the Guho family has exerted it’s company with strong core values.

Mark N. Guho upheld the family construction business throughout this time frame and decided to relocate the business in 1993 to Eagle, ID to provide a better lifestyle for his family.

Since relocation, the company has now evolved into General Contracting, specializing in the commercial construction sector, with a heavy emphasis in medical construction. MGC also maintains experience in retail construction, heavy civil development and industrial industries. Present day, the 4th generation, comprised of Mark J. Guho, Matt Guho, and Mike Guho, are actively working and growing the family business serving the State of Idaho and the greater northwest.
